TOSHIBA TEC's B-SX
series printers have the ability to encode RFID chips. To be able to meet the various standards and frequencies it has the unique ability to use different readers and antenna on the same model. Two modules are currently available but other read / writers can be integrated easily.

TOSHIBA TEC's B-SX series features a head up function that reduces damage to the chips during label printing. The print head can be raised to allow it to skip the RFID chip contained in the label. This unique function removes the possibility of impact or pressure damage to both the head and the chip. The end result of which is the continued long life of the printhead and fewer chip failures after printing.
TOSHIBA TEC's Basic Command Interpreter (BCI)
TOSHIBA TEC's powerful user programmable interface allows the user to use other RFID R/W modules with the B-SX series printer to extend the frequencies and chips available. It also allows the possibility to uniquely tailor the programming of the chips to your exact requirements.
Compliance with TEC Printer Command Language (TPCL)
The RFID function have been added to the existing TPCL control language making it easy for programmers on legacy systems to add this function to existing systems.
Windows driver
The printer driver supports the RFID function allowing chips to be encoded from most Windows applications.

Zebra’s R110Xi printer/encoders combine Xi high-performance reliability with flexible RFID encoding for ultra-dependable smart labeling solutions. The R110Xi HF model is built for high-frequency, smart labeling solutions.

UPM Raflatac Labels
UPM Raflatac pressure sensitive labelstock and manufacturer of RFID (radio frequency identification) tags and inlays which meet the needs of demanding applications in a vast array of end-uses.
UPM Raflatac high frequency (HF) RFID systems is 13.56 MHz which is is accepted worldwide. A typical HF RFID system uses passive tags and offers fair performance in the presence of metals and liquids.
The UPM Raflatac HF product range is available in the following delivery formats
- Dry inlay: continuous web, no adhesive
- Wet inlay: die-cut web with adhesive, filmic face
- Tag: die-cut web with adhesive, paper face
